Police Artifacts
The Police Museum receives a significant portion of its collections via donations from individuals whose family members were police officers and that want their family history preserved. If you have police artifacts, badges, equipments, uniforms, photos, etc., please contact the museum. Depending on the items, the museum also has a small acquisition fund.
In-Kind (Labor & Services)
Since the Police Museum has no paid staff, it often relies on the generosity of those in the community who may have expertise in a particular field, such as mechanics, auto restoration experts, car painters, upholsterers, and other related technical professions. If you are interested in donating your expertise, please contact us (See home page)
Money
As with any small non-profit organization, the Police Museum relies on the generosity of its donors. The monies are used for general operating costs, special projects and to maintain the Museum's historic Police car fleet. The Museum is a federally recognized 501c-3 non-profit educational organization (91-1873407)
Equipment
The Police Museum's fleet of authentic, vintage police vehicles is used to educate the public regarding the various types police transportation and technology. Due to their age and condition, ongoing restoration and maintenance efforts are ongoing and donations of automotive related equipment is always appreciated.
Old Police Cars
Restoring vintage police cars has become one of the Police Museum's primary missions. The Museum only restores authentic police vehicles that are donated by those who want to see these vehicles preserved. If you have an old police car, or know someone who does, please contact the museum. The Museum also purchases cars on occasion.
