The Police Museum's staff have spend over thirty-five years collecting artifacts and documents relating to the history of the Seattle Police Department and king county sheriff's office.

Public requests relating to the historical research of the Seattle Police and King County Sheriff's Office often requires exhaustive time-consuming efforts by museum staff.  The Museum's budget is limited and there may be a fee charged regarding requests that go beyond general historical information.

Research requests MUST be made to the Police Museum in writing, either by mail or e-mail.
